LEPIDOTHELPHUSA BORNEO CRAB SPECIES LIST

Lepidothelphusa Orange arm borneo crab

Lepidothelphusa Orange arm

Below is a comprehensive list of known Lepidothelphusa Borneo Crab species, identified by their scientific names wherever possible. Unfortunately, many species remain undocumented and unnamed, as these crabs are often poached from the wild by amateur "crab hunters" and sold in the pet trade with little regulation. We will be updating this list regularly as more information on Lepidothelphusa species becomes available. If you have any information or photos you'd like to contribute, feel free to get in touch!

Many of the images featured here are from www.garnelio.de, a large German store specializing in a wide variety of crabs. Please note, that they do not ship outside of Germany. For those in the US, AquaticArts is the most reputable online seller with high shipping survival rates. However, before purchasing online, be sure to read this guide.

I also highly suggest checking out Lars Fehlandt’s website for even more detailed information on a lot of these species. He does brilliant work on the ground and is a huge source of information on Lepidothelphusa and Geosesarma species.

Important: While I’ve done my best to credit and link the photographers in this guide, some images lack available information. If you recognise any uncredited images as your own, please let me know so I can properly credit you.
